The Opelika Police Department has requested that we alert you to a burglary involving $5,000 worth of old silver dollars. If you have any questions about someone using old silver dollars at your place of business, please contact Sgt. Ben Bugg at 705-5223.

 

Ribbon Cutting & Business After Hours at Fairfield Inn & Suites

In honor of the season, the hotel is encouraging you to bring a food item for the East Alabama Food Bank. Anyone that brings an item/donation will get an additional ticket to put in the drawing for prizes. Wings 100.3 Presents The ORIGINAL Friday Night Tailgate!

Auburn-Alabama Food Fight

Monday, October 20 through Thursday, November 20

We don't usually encourage food fights but we certainly make an exception in this case!  This is the largest food drive of the year, having a huge impact on the Food Bank's ability to provide food for all its agencies, including the Community Market.  Collection barrels can be found at all local grocery stores.

Be a Santa to a Senior-Sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care

Monday, November 3 through Friday, December 12

Christmas trees placed throughout the community will feature ornaments with the first names and gifts for seniors in our community.
