Chamber Committees

Ambassador Committee:
Purpose is to develop new members and retain existing members, to provide networking venues for the membership and to give recognition to worthy recipients.
Chair: Dianne Lowe

Education Committee:
Purpose is to provide or facilitate educational programs of interest for membership, to inform the membership on member benefits and services and to assist in advancing workforce development.
Chair: Jason Bryant & Bill Trant

Public Relations Committee:
Purpose is to review effectiveness of Chamber publications and to insure proper distribution of Chamber publications.
Chair: John Wild

Governmental Affairs Committee:
Purpose is to keep membership informed of relevant business issues.
Chair: Bob Meadows

Opelika Economic Development Committee:
Purpose is to assist City of Opelika in Retail Development and to insure City of Opelika Contract is implemented properly.
Chair: Terri Schaub & Tim Gore

Finance Committee:
Purpose is to assist in preparation with annual Chamber operating budget, to provide advice on capital improvements, to assist in Chamber Executive Annual Review, to provide advice on City of Opelika Contract, to assist in raising funds for the Opelika Chamber of Commerce.
Chair: Temple Anderson

Nominating Committee:
Purpose is to select and present qualified candidates for the Opelika Chamber Board of Directors.
Chair:  Robert Williams
